HI Connect®
Experience a Design Revolution

The first day of the fourth annual HI Connect® is complete and while there are still two days left, attendees are already declaring the industry’s most unique event an unmitigated success.

HI Connect® has grown into an undeniably proven concept that’s attracting industry heavyweights. They know HI Connect® is a powerful tool giving them the business edge with a glimpse into future trends, access to the highest caliber of industry executives and a chance to make deals to take their respective companies to new heights of success.

HI Connect® is the opportunity to interact with real environments, or "vignettes," while connecting with business building contacts. HI Connect® is the only event simultaneously stimulating all five senses while helping suppliers and designers foster critical relationships with influential owners, developers, hoteliers, designers, architects, suppliers and purchasing professionals. Unparalleled networking and inspiration are only the beginning of what’s to be discovered at HI Connect®.

In 2014, attendance eclipsed 2013 levels. This year attendance is up 22 percent more and climbing! However, that’s just our best guess as the word is out and more people than ever are simply showing up and registering on site. They’re being told by people attending the first day of the show they must be a part of this HI Connect®. And they’re hopping on planes and in their cars to be a part of day two and three.

Today, attendees showed up in unprecedented numbers to experience dozens of fully constructed vignettes as well as a rich tapestry of hard cutting industry educational panels. They made deals over smoothies in well-orchestrated vignettes, while others dined in our full-scale beautifully designed restaurant, enjoyed a glass of wine or espresso while listening to top local talent. People also shared bourbon flights and conversation in the M Club Lounge or handcrafted cocktails in our bar spaces while others explored spaces that if implemented are sure to create loyal customers for developers and owners.

That merging of the design and financial worlds is in essence the most intriguing facet of HI Connect®. We’re bringing together typically different but equally powerful groups of hospitality professionals. While most events focus on a single discipline such as design or development, HI Connect® successfully bridges that seemingly unpassable chasm uniting all elements of the hotel industry into a cohesive event experience.

Sure the top purchasing decision makers were on hand but so were the industry's top ownership groups, management companies and CEOs of major hotel brand companies.

Industry CEOs are throwing their support behind the event and was attended today with superstars such as Roger Bloss, President & CEO Vantage Hospitality; Wayne Goldberg, President & CEO La Quinta; Greg Mount, President/CEO of Red Lion Hotels Corp.; Brian Wogernese, President of Cobblestone Hotels and Sean Worker, President & CEO of BridgeStreet Global Hospitality, who are all appeared on HI Connect®’s opening President’s panel this morning.

Stay tuned to hear more about how HI connect has galvanized and re-energized the industry by bringing together the top minds in hospitality.

Day 1 may be done but it’s not too late to enjoy day 2 or day 3. While registration was closed, we have reopened it due to popular demand. Act now and visit our dedicated website to learn more and register for this unique event which is setting a new standard for hospitality tradeshows.
