The hotel triumphed last year with a new experience for travelers with every comfort and luxury just a tweet away. This year the hotel goes even further: guests can do anything by sending a tweet from their mobile such as order a taxi, get a beer, book a Bali bed, refill the mini bar or learn about the day’s activities.
Examples of ways Twitter can be used include hailing a taxi by sending a tweet with the hashtag #WaveTaxi to @SolWaveHouse; to reserve a Bali bed use the hashtag #BaliBed; to fill the minibar #FillmyFridge and to ask the concierge anything #Askme700.
With hashtags emblazoned throughout the property, the hotel harnesses the power of social media to interact with guests thereby linking the real world with the virtual. In addition, if customers are not yet familiar with Twitter, the hotel offers a "Twitter lesson" that enables them to take every opportunity of this social network.
Guests also have the option of staying in the luxurious Tweet Party Suites which include a bottle of cava and special attention on arrival, a 20% discount in the hotel Surf Snack Bar and restaurant Byron´s, VIP hammock with fruits skewers, personalized minibar, Twitter Concierge and free Social WiFi.
