Charles Kaval has been appointed as the Director of Special Events of the highly-anticipated Park Hyatt New York, Park Hyatt’s U.S. flagship property slated to open in mid-August 2014. In his role as Director of Special Events, Charles is responsible for event management, catering and conference services available at Park Hyatt New York.

Charles brings more than 20 years' experience in the luxury hospitality industry, specializing in special events coordination for the social, financial and corporate consulting industries. In his past roles, Charles served as Director of Catering at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Palo Alto, California and previously served as Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia where he managed total sales efforts and spearheaded strategic initiatives to maximize revenue and space utilization.
