Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately-held commercial real estate services company, has announced the appointment of Mark Suchy to the position of Director, Capital Markets, East China.

Mark is based in Shanghai, where he will lead the Capital Markets team in Eastern China. Mark has worked with Cushman & Wakefield before, and re-joins the company as it enters an exciting growth phase, supported by strong leadership, an improved collaborative platform, and high-profile wins – which have sent a clear message to the market about Cushman & Wakefield’s strength as a team that thrives on “Winning Together.”

John Stinson, Executive Managing Director of Capital Markets for Asia Pacific at Cushman & Wakefield said: “Mark has extensive knowledge of managing all aspects of investment transactions, and is well known for exceeding his client’s expectations. We believe his appointment will further extend our capital markets service platform.”

Jonathan Davis, Managing Director of China at Cushman & Wakefield commented: “We are delighted to have Mark re-joining us. This new appointment enhances our China leadership team as we are fully committed to expanding our China operations.”

Mark Suchy said: “I am excited to re-join Cushman & Wakefield. The company has been growing rapidly in China, and I’m looking forward to leading the Capital Markets team in Eastern China during the next stage of growth and will be reaching for new levels of achievement.”

Mark has over 10 years’ experience in real estate in the China market and has managed eight high-profile investment transactions in the last three years. Mark re-joins Cushman & Wakefield from a real estate agency, where he was Director of Investment, China. He was responsible for three large-scale outbound transactions in Canada and the U.S. in his last 18 months at the agency, and an en-bloc purchase by an MNC end user in downtown Shanghai in the first quarter of this year.
