Aries Capital, LLC is pleased to announce that Andrea Riegsecker (54), the firm’s executive vice president, is spearheading the firm’s Midwestern expansion.

Riegsecker, who brings more than three decades of industry experience, will be splitting her time between the firm’s Chicago headquarters and the greater Peoria, Illinois area. A resident of Peoria, Illinois for the past five years, Riegsecker has continued to work from the Chicago office where she has been employed for the past 17 years. In an effort to augment the firm’s Midwestern presence, she will now also focus business development efforts in the central Illinois regions of Peoria, Champaign and Bloomington-Normal as well as St. Louis, Missouri, Western Indiana and Eastern Iowa.

“Andrea is an integral member of our team and she has always demonstrated a strong propensity for business development,” said Neil Freeman, Chairman and CEO of Aries Capital. “Her ability to reach out locally and connect with contacts and resources in the greater Peoria region will be a great benefit to both our firm and our clients.”

A skilled analyst, Riegsecker has underwritten $285,000,000 in securitized loans and underwritten and closed $38,000,000 in bank, mezzanine and equity loans for all types of commercial properties, including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hotel and senior and assisted living facilities. As executive vice president for Aries, she executes the due diligence evaluations of borrowers, properties, and markets; acts as a loan structure advisor to clients and loan committees; and manages loan closings.

“Living in Peoria has strengthened my knowledge of the Midwest market and created the ideal opportunity for Aries to enhance its service offerings to the region through local representation,” said Riegsecker. “I am excited about this endeavor and look forward to providing Aries’ exceptional service platform to new markets.”

Riegsecker can be reached at ariegsecker@ariescapital.com or in Chicago at 312-640-7425 and in the Peoria office at 309- 550-4560.
