Frontera Hotel Group has added two hotels in Denton, Texas to its portfolio of managed properties -- an 88-room, four-story LaQuinta Inn & Suites and a 92-room, four -story Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites. Denton is located on the northern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, about 25 miles from DFW International Airport.

Both properties recently underwent extensive renovations and were acquired on July 1 by Angel Hospitality Inc., in Frisco, Texas.

“We focus on three simple, but essential goals -- to maximize revenue and to minimize costs, and in the process, to increase the value of properties for owners,” explains Frontera’s President and CEO Peter Bheda.

“Currently, we are aggressively -- but responsibly -- exploring additional ownership and management opportunities at midscale and upscale limited service hotels in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean.”

Dallas-based Frontera, which was formed in 2013, now manages 12 hotels in Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, and California that together are valued at more than $100 million. The company has ownership in two of the properties.
