Evolve Controls, delivering enterprise wireless solutions to hotels that increase guest loyalty and experience, today introduced two guest-facing applications running on the Room Operations Center (ROC), its next generation room control platform. The applications are designed to deliver touch control of virtually every element in a hotel room, ranging from temperature and lighting to the operation of the draperies and beyond.

Far beyond that, however, GuestX(TM) applications deliver personalized, content-driven information and interactions that will delight hotel guests, and enable hotels to differentiate themselves from their competitors in the effort to drive the kind of customer loyalty that results in repeat visits.

GuestX Concierge(TM) is deployed on devices running Microsoft Windows 8; GuestX YOU(TM) is specifically designed so that hotel guests can download the same functionality to their mobile phones or other devices (BYOD), helping them blend familiarity with control.

In addition to having complete room control, GuestX Concierge(TM) provides a full, customizable range of information to guests, including messaging, news and sports headlines, local weather conditions, curated reviews of local attractions and restaurants and more. By empowering the guest's personal device, GuestX You(TM) delivers a completely fresh approach; guests can receive hotel messages and have full control of their room during their stay, either on or off the property.

Regardless of which option hotel guests choose, their information will be seamlessly handled by Evolve's ROC devices, which connect to the Azure Cloud infrastructure from Microsoft. As a result, hoteliers receive automatic updates and features in a "hands-off" manner, ensuring that their systems are always up-to-date. The ROC platform was introduced at last week's HITEC conference in Los Angeles.
