The chic new Motif Seattle hotel, which opened in June 2014 in downtown Seattle, has been accepted into Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI). The Emerald City-inspired hotel, which is the city’s largest independently branded hotel, opened upon the completion of a dramatic $25 million transformation of a former landmark hotel on Fifth Avenue. The ALHI Global Sales Organization now represents the sophisticated and essentially new hotel to meeting professionals, association executives, incentive/recognition specialists, and business executives interested in conducting meetings and/or programs at the hotel. Motif Seattle is managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts.

Motif Seattle becomes ALHI’s second Member in Washington, joining the luxurious and cosmopolitan Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle. In addition to its membership in ALHI’s worldwide portfolio of 160+ Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts, Motif Seattle becomes a new option in the “ALHI City Solutions Collection” specialty segment, consisting of ALHI hotels in distinctive metropolitan areas around the world.

Ideally located in the heart of downtown Seattle on Fifth Avenue (between Pike and Union streets), the stylish and upscale Motif Seattle just completed the impressive three-year, multi-phase renovation. Providing spectacular views of Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, and downtown Seattle, the hotel features 319 newly renovated guest rooms and 10 suites with sweeping views. as well as décor inspired by Seattle’s unique culture. Motif Seattle boasts an entirely fresh new look and décor inspired by Seattle’s rich fashion, music, and art scenes. As part of this the hotel is working with local designers on an ongoing basis to create distinctive experiences throughout the hotel, such as custom patterns on textiles, unique amenities, and native artwork. Situated in the center of the vibrant city, the hotel is just moments from Seattle’s exciting theaters, shopping, fine restaurants, museums, entertainment venues, and attractions. This includes the Seattle waterfront, Pioneer Square, Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Experience Music Project (EMP), Seattle Aquarium, and CenturyLink Field. The hotel is just two blocks from the Washington State Convention and Trade Center, and is also convenient to the monorail, which can take you to Seattle Center and Pacific Science Center. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is only 15 miles south of the hotel.
