Mission Inn Resort Completes Guest Room Refresh As Part Of 50th Anniversary Commemoration

All guest rooms and suites at Mission Inn Resort & Club, iconic destination nestled in Central Florida’s rolling citrus country near Orlando, have been “refreshed” and timed to aligned with resort’s 50th anniversary of Beucher family ownership.

The resort’s 176 guest rooms each received a new television, carpet, upholstery, window treatments and sliding glass doors that open to private screened balconies overlooking the golf course and beyond. Keurig coffee makers have been added to the 50 guest suites. Hallways have been repainted and decorated with carefully selected artwork.

Mission Inn Resort & Club, located in Howey-in-the-Hills, has been owned and managed by the Beucher family since 1964. “The refresh is just one component of the resort’s year-long commemoration of our 50 years of working together as a family in the hospitality business,” said Bud Beucher, Mission Inn vice president and general manager.

The resort’s extensive meeting facilities include 30,000 square feet of conference space and an array of recreation and team-building amenities. Mission Inn has a total of 19 separate meeting rooms that include two large ballrooms that measure 5,000 and 3,000 square feet and have 14-foot ceilings. Outdoor patios and courtyards are available for evening receptions and dinners. The colonial Spanish-styled verandahs are ideal for groups of 30 to 300 guests. The air-conditioned lakeside pavilion offers a rustic natural Florida location for 200 guests on Lake Harris.

Resort amenities include two championship golf courses, eight tennis courts, trap and skeet shooting range, jogging and bicycling trails, volleyball courts, outdoor pool and hydro-spa, fitness center, Spa Marbella, lakeside nautical center with fishing, powerboats and eco-touring.
