Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort has named Jodi Sullivan senior director of fitness & wellness, according to Rick Hayduk, president of the landmark resort located in Boca Raton, Florida. Sullivan will manage the resort’s updated fitness facilities and programs, all aspects of the wellness initiatives, and its 50,000 sq. ft. spa, recently named one of Condé Nast Traveler's "25 Top Spas in the World" and "Top 100 Resort Spas in the United States."

She will also be responsible for “Enlightened Living,” an initiative introduced at the beginning of the year which features workshops from renowned health and wellness specialists, healthy menu options, fitness activities and consultations with nutritionists and exercise physiologists.

“Jodi was the clear choice to take over Boca Raton Resort & Club’s newly updated wellness facilities and amenities,” said Hayduk. “As Hilton Worldwide’s global fitness director, she implemented fitness concepts to the brand’s 4,000 hotels and resorts. The Boca Raton Resort & Club is on the forefront of including health and wellness amenities alongside the traditional amenities of golf, tennis and dining.”

Prior to joining the team at Boca Raton Resort & Club, Sullivan was the senior director of global fitness for Hilton Worldwide where she developed and implemented fitness brand standards, procedures and processes to support the roll-out of a new fitness concept across Hilton Worldwide globally. Sullivan has also spent time as general manager and personal training director at Meridian Sports Clubs in Los Angeles, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and has received her Certified Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Her continuing education completed coursework include Integrated Kinetic Chain Assessment, Critical Concepts & Applications for Fat Loss in Fitness & Sport and Neuromuscular Stretching for the Fitness Professional.
