A partnership between Zuppler, a mobile and web-based menu ordering platform, and Choice Hotels, one of the largest and most successful lodging companies in the world, has produced “ChoiceHotelsMenus.com,” a robust, easy-to-use destination that allows Choice Hotels’ guests to conveniently order and pay for in-room dining delivered from the area’s most popular restaurants.
Since the rollout phase began, more than 250 Choice Hotels throughout the country have embraced Zuppler’s efficient technological approach to in-room dining. Customers can access the technology online and through downloading an app available on both iOS and Android platforms. Initial implementation has occurred with strategic success in various socioeconomic markets.
Choice Hotels consists of a family of brands including Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Econo Lodge and the Rodeway Inn. Adding the Zuppler platform to Choice Hotels has resulted in a portfolio of more than 4,500 different restaurant chains across the country who have signed on to participate in the program.
“We at Choice Hotels are pleased to be included in the launch of the Zuppler hotel platform,” Joey Martin, director of regional marketing, Choice Hotels said. “With Choicehotelsmenus.com, we deliver to our guests the added amenity of an innovative and unique online restaurant ordering and delivery program utilizing leading technology designed and managed by Zuppler. We look forward to expanding our participation in the program across all our brands.”
Through its partnership with Zuppler, Choice Hotels can now offer an amenity that creates value, builds brand loyalty and increases repeat business. An incentive program also rewards hotel venues that meet specific benchmarks for ordering. For example, 100 guest orders in a month earns the Choice Hotels’ franchise owner a free Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
“Zuppler strives to build a convenient bridge between the hungry consumer and the technology seeking proprietor in today’s digital age of hospitality,” Zuppler CEO Shiva Srinivasan said. “We saw an opportunity to service both and designed ChoiceHotelsMenus.com to meet market demand.”
To help participating hotels seamlessly integrate the program, Zuppler provides marketing materials to be used at the front desk, in meeting spaces, and guest rooms.
Consumers now have an assortment of options from which to select while in the comfort and security of their own room. Guests can price compare and decide between many local establishments, as Zuppler has assembled a large network of restaurant chains (including popular national brands like Subway, California Pizza Kitchen, and T.G.I. Friday’s). Features also enable guests to arrange in advance for their orders to be delivered at the same time they arrive at the hotel.
Initially founded in 2009, Zuppler is a mobile and web-based food ordering platform. Headquartered in Conshohocken, PA, the company provides ubiquitous, white-labeled technology with unlimited customizations for clients around the world. Zuppler has partnered with the Dallas Cowboys, Choice Hotels, Protein Bar, Boloco, and thousands of others. Industries include, but are not limited to, hospitality, restaurant technology, digital publishing and catering. Learn more at zupplerworks.com.
