Intercontinental Hotels Of San Francisco Announce New Promotions And Appointments

InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco are proud to announce new appointments and promotions to the Food and Beverage, Operations, and Sales divisions. Appointments include Karyna Flores to the Sales Manager and Aidan Bryan to Director of Outlets positions. New promotions within the team include Siamak Nassirpour to Director of Operations and Jennifer Peterson to Catering Manager.

Customer relations specialist Karyna Flores brings an international background and commitment to customer service to the position of Sales Manager. Prior to joining the InterContinental San Francisco, Flores worked for the Doubletree by Hilton and the Hilton Concord, where she brought her knowledge of customer relations to the Front Desk office and the Sales and Catering departments. Flores began her global career in hospitality in the Philippines when she took her internship, as part of the Personality Development team with Philippine Airlines and at the Front Office of the Mandarin Oriental Manila. She landed her first job with The Bellevue Manila Hotel in the Reservations department and was promoted to being a Sales Executive. Prior to transitioning to the United States, Flores was part of the in-flight crew for Qatar Airways, stationed in Doha, Qatar.

Aidan Bryan comes from a strong background in hospitality, with a career that spans three continents and 15 years of service at world-renowned establishments. Prior to accepting the position of Director of Outlets at the InterContinental San Francisco, Bryan was part of the InterContinental family in Melbourne, as the Food and Beverage Manager at The Rialto, a position he held for the past three years. Bryan’s dedication to providing 5 star service developed through his years as Manager of 28 Restaurant in Melbourne, as well as Bar Manager at Maze by Gordon Ramsay, Claridge’s Bar at the Claridge’s Hotel, and the Tsunami Cocktail Bar in London. An Australian native, Bryan is looking forward to carving a long and promising professional future in the United States.

Jennifer Peterson joined the InterContinental Hotels Group team in 2013 as the Banquet Manager & Meeting Concierge, a position in which she rose to meet and exceeded customer needs, handling all banquet operations to ensure the overall success of events and managing activities to maximize customer satisfaction. Peterson will continue to bring her enthusiasm for the profession in her new role as Catering Manager. Prior to joining the InterContinental team, Peterson’s professional background included positions held at the Montage Hotels and Resorts and Northampton House.

Seasoned hospitality professional Siamak Nassirpour joined the InterContinental San Francisco as Director of Rooms in 2013, before accepting the title of Director of Operations. Prior to joining the InterContinental San Francisco team, Nassirpour was Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York, where he improved rooms profit margin by 4% from 2011 to 2012. Nassirpour has also held positions as Director of Rooms and Revenue Management at the Marriott Downtown Los Angeles and Director of Rooms at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza.
