Sun Mountain Lodge, Washington State’s premier destination resort, announced today that it has partnered with Stash Hotel Rewards, the nation’s largest points-based rewards program for independent hotels. As a result of this new partnership, Stash members are now able to earn and redeem points at Sun Mountain Lodge, a year-round luxury resort perfect for leisure travelers and group retreats.

“As an independently-owned resort that’s off the beaten path, we are proud to offer our guests with an unparalleled Washington experience,” said Eric Christenson, Director of Marketing at Sun Mountain Lodge. “By partnering with Stash, we can now foster guest loyalty by complementing our exceptional services with the added incentive of a rewards program.”

Situated on 3,000 acres high above the old Western theme town of Winthrop, Sun Mountain Lodge is a true mountain retreat. The resort offers guest rooms with stunning views of the Cascade Mountains, private lakeside cabins, a full service spa, over 6,000 square feet of event space and a AAA Four Diamond Award-winning gourmet restaurant.

No matter the season, Sun Mountain Lodge provides guests with outdoor activities to suit groups of all sizes. During the warmer months, guests can take advantage of on-site horseback riding, mountain biking, fly fishing tutorials and some of the best golf courses in the Northwest. Winter brings over 200 kilometers of freshly-groomed cross country ski and snowshoe trails, and horse-drawn sleigh rides.

“Sun Mountain Lodge is a sophisticated resort environment integrated with the beauty and culture of the Methow Valley,” said Jeff Low, Founder and CEO of Stash Hotel Rewards. “The huge stone hearth in the lounge, locally crafted wood headboards, the dining room looking out onto sunset over the hills, the cellar full of Washington State wines, even a pool under the stars—everything is designed to deepen your experience of this spectacular part of the country.”

Travelers interested in earning points at Sun Mountain Lodge can join Stash for free at www.stashrewards.com. Stash members earn five points for each dollar spent on eligible room rates and can redeem them at nearly 200 unique independent hotels across the U.S. Stash points never expire, and redemption is simple, without blackout dates or category restrictions found in many chain programs. Stash partner hotels also provide members with access to exclusive travel deals.
