PR Industry Veteran Samantha Jacobs Launches New Agency

PR industry veteran Samantha Jacobs today announced the launch of Hemsworth Communications, LLC (www.HemsworthCommunications.com), a new integrated public relations, corporate communications and marketing consultancy. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the agency is currently hiring for several positions and will open offices this summer.

A dynamic, well-rounded agency with varied areas of expertise, Hemsworth Communications will specifically cater to companies in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. The agency will also leverage its experience with real estate, philanthropy, entertainment, sports business, home and lifestyle products, as well as manage global publicity campaigns for individual athletes, entertainers, authors and entrepreneurs. Services include research, strategic planning, branding, media relations, promotions, press trips, media tours, guerilla marketing, cause marketing, event planning and more. The agency will also provide customized solutions for those seeking executive media training, speechwriting, crisis communications and copywriting services.

Behind the launch of Hemsworth Communications is Samantha Jacobs, an industry veteran whose career includes work with the world's top-rated travel, tourism, hospitality, sports and lifestyle companies. For the past four years, Jacobs has served as vice president and associate partner for M Silver, a division of Finn Partners. Clients led by Jacobs during her tenure there included B Hotels & Resorts, b2 hotels, Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza Hotel, Driftwood Hospitality Management, El Conquistador Resort, El San Juan Resort & Casino, Fisher Island Resort, Flavors of Fort Lauderdale, Get Grounded Footwear, Hilton Worldwide, The New Yorker Hotel, The Polo Club of Boca Raton and others.

Previously, Jacobs served as the first-ever director of public relations for World Travel Holdings' CruiseOne & Cruises Inc. brands. In that role, she worked directly with the global travel distributor's leadership team to craft an integrated B2B and B2C marketing and public relations strategy. This included developing the companies' first-ever travel agent media training program and authorized spokesperson team, conducting PR training sessions for more than 1,000 travel agents, hosting A-list media onboard the companies' National Conference five years running, and helping create unique programs like "Pink Slip Paybacks" and "Operation Vetrepreneur," which helped the franchise and host agency grow exponentially.
