Interval Int’l Affiliates The Colorado Grand And Extends Relationship With Other Breckenridge Grand Vacations Resorts

Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the addition of The Colorado Grand, the newest project in the Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) family of resorts. In conjunction with this affiliation, Interval has also extended its agreements with the three other BGV properties.

The first BGV resort to join Interval was Gold Point Condominiums in 1985. It was followed by Grand Timber Lodge, Grand Lodge on Peak 7, and now The Colorado Grand.

“This latest BGV property will undoubtedly be more impressive than the last. The company just keeps raising the bar in design and amenities with each outstanding new resort,” said Bryan Ten Broek, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and marketing. “We’re very proud of our long association with a team that is so dedicated to delivering high-quality accommodations and superior customer service.”

Located at the base of Peak 8 of the Breckenridge Ski Resort, The Colorado Grand will be just steps away from ski lifts and the BreckConnect Gondola used by nearly 1.6 million skiers each year. The resort will be situated on 2.5 acres and comprise 75 two-bedroom-equivalent units averaging approximately 1,450 square feet each. They will be constructed in three phases over a period of five years, with completion of the phases planned for 2016, 2017, and 2018. Interior design and architectural elements will be of contemporary/mountain-modern style, utilizing the natural elements of stone, metal, and wood throughout.

The resort will boast a full-service restaurant and spa open to the general public. A family fun center, movie theaters, fitness facility, grand lobby, heated underground parking, and an extensive indoor-outdoor aquatic center will be available only to Colorado Grand owners and guests.


At 9,600 feet above sea level, Breckenridge defines the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. It has evolved from a Gold Rush mining town to a popular vacation destination and world-class ski resort. Breckenridge has the largest historic district in the state; numerous cultural, shopping, and dining options; and a host of outdoor activities for families and adventurers in all seasons.

New purchasers at The Colorado Grand will be enrolled as individual members of Interval International and will also become either Interval Gold® or Club Interval Gold® members, entitling them to a number of flexible exchange opportunities and upgraded benefits and services. Exclusively with Club Interval Gold comes the ability to trade their week or convert it to points. Both Gold programs include discounts on Getaway vacation rentals, ShortStay Exchange®, a concierge service available 24/7 via phone and email, Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® membership, and special offers at hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets worldwide.
