Value Place, the largest economy, extended-stay hotel brand in the U.S., has announced the grand re-opening of its hotel in American Fork, Ut., following a $500,000 renovation. This is one of three Value Place hotels currently open in Utah.
Inspired by guest feedback and competitive offerings, Value Place enhanced the property by upgrading lighting, beds, and televisions, as well as amenities including high-speed, wireless Internet.

“Enhancing our current properties is a great way to improve our guest experience,” says Value Place COO Kyle Rogg. “We already meet the ‘needs’ of budget-conscious, longer-stay-needing guests. These upgrades answer the ‘wants’.”

These local renovations are part of Value Place’s national effort to enhance corporate-and franchisee-owned properties, all new construction between 2002 and 2013, to better serve business and personal travelers requiring a week or more of lodging.

Extended-stay hotels like Value Place are an appealing option for government employees, military personnel, business travelers, and construction workers who travel frequently for work and require a budget-friendly hotel. Retirees, students, tourists, and those relocating in the Salt Lake City area also appreciate the value of an extended-stay offering.

The four-story, 121-room property, located at 57 North 900 West, is 30 minutes south of downtown Salt Lake City and less than 20 minutes north of Provo and is accessible from Interstate 15 off exit 278. There is abundant shopping, eating, and business adjacent to the property.

With nearly 190 hotels open in 32 states, Value Place has emerged as a leader in the extended-stay segment. The company continues to garner national recognition, and was recently named one of 2013’s Top 500 Franchises by Entrepreneur Magazine, as well as one of Franchise Business Review’s Top 50 Franchises for four consecutive years.
