Rocketrip, the first commercially available platform to save companies money on travel expenses by rewarding employee cost-saving behavior, today announced that Jennifer Greene has joined the company in the newly created position of Vice President, Customer Operations. She will be based in Rocketrip's NYC headquarters and report to Daniel Ruch, Founder & CEO.
"We welcome Jennifer to the Rocketrip team as we invest resources to continue providing delightful user experiences for travel administrators and traveling employees," says Mr. Ruch. "Jennifer joins us as we take on more customers eager to save money on business travel and create an exciting, engaging company culture."
Ms Greene is a 10+ year veteran of the digital industry. Prior to joining Rocketrip, she served as Senior Director, Revenue Operations for Hooked Media Group, a mobile app discovery platform. Before that, she was the Director of Account Management at TACODA, a behavior targeted marketing company which was acquired by AOL in 2007. Ms Greene holds a B.A. in history from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a triathlete.
“The direction of the business travel industry strongly validates Rocketrip’s model of encouraging positive travel behavior for companies in a very meaningful way, both in corporate culture and realized savings," says Ms. Greene." It’s a very exciting time to be in the space.”
Rocketrip recently closed its first institutional round of funding. Canaan Partners led the $2.6 million Series A financing with participation from Genacast Ventures and others investors.
Rocketrip (http://www.rocketrip.com) is the first commercially available travel management platform to save companies money on travel expenses by motivating employees to become willing and enthusiastic partners in cost savings. Rocketrip’s algorithms integrate a company's travel policy with real-time trip pricing and availability to create a personalized Smart Budget for each trip. Employees are set free to book using their favorite travel websites. The company rewards employees for booking under budget by sharing a percentage of the savings in the form of cash and gift cards. Rocketrip, based in New York City, provides employers with insights and analytics on company spending, savings and employee travel behavior, giving them the ability to optimize their travel policy and rewards program.
