When COMO Hotels and Resorts opens its first U.S. property in Miami next month, RoamBoost from RoamingAround will be there. Metropolitan by COMO is a 74-room luxury boutique hotel that occupies an original 1930s building located in the heart of the city’s famous Art Deco district. RoamBoost is designed to defeat complex challenges that hotels face today by enhancing the local geography’s coverage inside the building. The converted and completely rebuilt Metropolitan by COMO hotel will feature: The Traymore Restaurant and Bar, showcasing Floridian seafood with an emphasis on fine dining and traditional service, and a poolside restaurant featuring wood-baked pizzas and easygoing pick-up food to enjoy during the day. The Traymore Bar will specialize in more than 40 artisanal Gins, premium spirits and Champagnes. The Metropolitan by COMO will also feature the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape, located on Collins Avenue and 24th St. This spa will feature four treatment rooms and a rooftop hydrotherapy pool. A rooftop COMO Shambhala juice bar will provide a calming space to revitalize with a bespoke juice blend after a workout, beachfront run, or massage. Italian designer Paola Navone preserved the hotel’s Art Deco heritage and contrasted it with an urban, contemporary spirit in shades of peppermint green and dusky grey with surfaces of cool white marble and shining chrome.
