Gorgeous designs, meticulous delivery.

Interior Image Group (IIG) recently completed renovations to the public space of the Buffalo, N.Y., Homewood Suites by Hilton, bringing the property into alignment with the brand's "Take Flight" program. The new design concept placed an emphasis on creating a community feel and providing additional areas for guests to plug in, connect, and relax.

“Interior Image Group has completed another splendid renovation for us, combining the new Homewood Suites prototype requirements with a design scheme that has really transformed the hotel," said Ron Kendall, CEO of Buffalo Lodging. "We have been extremely satisfied with their design, diligence in responding to our needs and cooperativeness in making changes as we moved through the process. We will not hesitate to use them for our future renovations.”

To create a more interactive and less confined space, the Business Center was moved into the lobby, while the Suite Shop was opened into the lobby for a better guest experience. The new design also traded in the traditional long check-in desk to a friendlier pod-style arrangement, facilitating improved guest-staff interaction.

Iconic design elements include a wing table in the pantry/lounge and a double sided sectional which separates the dining and lounge areas. The latter accommodates community seating during continental breakfasts and manager evenings with wine, cheese and occasional dinners. The café-style lounge serves a dual purpose beyond food and beverage service; the space includes a fixed large-screen TV, and comfortable seating for guests and their kids working or playing on their portable electronic devices.

The renovation also impacted the outdoor space, with the addition of a terrace featuring a pergola, fire pit and outdoor kitchen with two built-in grills, and with ample seating for gatherings.
