Boston, New Haven, New York, Seattle, and Washington D.C.(January 21, 2014). Sandman Savrann PLLC, a law firm devoted to providing first-choice counsel to the hospitality industry, announced today that James A. Crolle III has joined the firm. Mr. Crolle will oversee the firm’s new office in Washington, D.C., where he will expand the firm’s client base and provide existing clients better access to hotel brands and companies headquartered in the Washington metropolitan area.

“Sandman Savrann is uniquely suited to my skills and background," said Mr. Crolle. "I am excited to be joining a firm with such strong brand recognition within the hospitality industry, and I look forward to growing the firm’s presence in one of the world’s primary hotel industry centers,” Mr. Crolle said.

“From the time of our launch in 2010 we have envisioned a presence in the D.C. market,” said Russ Savrann, a co-founder of the firm. “Jamie has excellent contacts in D.C., having worked there most of his career. He brings deep experience from over 15 years of hotel practice at major law firms and senior level in-house positions, combined with a practical, business-minded approach that facilitates transactions and helps clients achieve their business objectives,” Mr. Savrann said.

“With the addition of Jamie Crolle, Sandman Savrann has one of country’s deepest legal ‘brain trusts’ in the hospitality industry,” said Stephen Barth, founder of HospitalityLawyer.com and Professor of Hospitality Law at the University of Houston.

Sandman Savrann’s industry counselors are distinguished by their extensive knowledge, experience, contacts, and reputations in the hospitality industry. “Hotel companies need counselors who understand the special relationships that exist in the industry, who have extensive contacts within it, and whose reputations are built on trust, loyalty and integrity. We actually facilitate relationships and opportunities and accomplish objectives that otherwise might not be achievable,” said Irvin Sandman, a co-founder of the firm.

Sandman Savrann’s national practice has offices in Boston, New Haven, New York, Seattle, and, with Mr. Crolle’s addition, Washington, D.C.
