G7 Hospitality Group, the growing lodging/hospitality and travel industry consultancy, announced today that as part of its 2013 business model revision and expansion plan it has added 8 new members--almost doubling the size and capacity of G7 Hospitality to serve the ever-strengthening global hotel and travel industry market.

Echoing Kelley’s sentiments, Gordon Carncross, Co-Owner of G7 Hospitality, said, “We are talking about a very accomplished group here. They are seasoned—in a hands-on executive way, not just a theoretical way. They will strengthen the fronts that G7 Hospitality has established to date and is known for, and further expand our delivery in key discipline areas like operations, marketing, revenue strategy, branding, asset management, human resources, technology, and communications.”

The new G7 Hospitality consultant members include: Gillian Harper, a UK native and Sales, Marketing, and Product Development authority, who after a high-level executive career with Alamo has been a Canadian Travel Industry leader for decades; Neil Foster, a Vancouver-based Technology pro, who has been involved in hotel industry IT leadership and is a member of Certified Hospitality Technology Professionals (CHTP); Richard Williams, past executive of the posh and famous Sandy Lane Resort, and one of the driving forces behind the success of Barbados tourism and past President of the Barbados Hotel Association; Sean Handerhan, a 30 year marketer with an MBA from Lehigh University, and the creator of partnerships with numerous well-known U.S. brands during his marketing executive years with Marriott; Jim Pilarski, Owner/Principal of Talent Link International, a Human Resource and Leadership Development company, and former Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Marriott International, former Chief Human Resources Officer for Marriott Asia/Pacific, as well as former chair of the International Personnel Association; Michelle Punj, a Wellness authority and registered dietician and nutritionist with a Masters from Cornell, and a delegate to the Global Spa and Wellness Summit; Jon Peck, Principal, Peck Hotel Consulting based in Chicago, and former Chief Operating Officer of White Lodging Company after 20 years of leadership at Marriott, part owner of 10 hotels, and a registered real estate broker; and Roger Conner, a career Communications executive with Marriott and Catholic Charities, and President and CEO of Conner Communications, LLC, specializing in Crisis Communications, PR/Media, Marketing Communications and Special Events.
