With increasing constriction of cash flow in luxury and first class hotels and resorts, property owners must look for new means of improving asset performance. Whetstone Partners, formed by industry veterans Jonathan Crellin and Sara Glenn, is a new international hospitality asset management and consulting firm that hotel owners and investors can rely on to sharpen asset returns.

Crellin and Glenn each bring more than twenty years of experience to this new venture. They have collaborated successfully across the owner/operator divide at hotels throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda.

Crellin established a long record of outstanding achievement in sales and marketing before transitioning in to general manager roles at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Boston and Bermuda and at the Forbes Five-Star Boston Harbor Hotel. He has a keen sense of how to drive revenues, add value, find efficiencies and implement change so all parties embrace and engage in the process.

Glenn began her career in hotel and resort operations with Delta Hotels & Resorts and then shifted focus to the ownership and investment side of the business. Working with Westmont Hospitality Group, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, and RGA Hotel Asset Management, she has a proven track record of collaborative and results oriented asset management.

“My expertise in asset management, real estate transactions and capital planning, complements Jon’s background in sales and marketing and on property operations,” explains Glenn. “Together we bring extensive experience in repositioning, rebranding, renovating, and re-energizing operations while driving top line revenues and improving margins. Our focus is sharpening the assets of hotel owners.”
