(NYSE: HOT) today announced the opening of Sheraton Bailuhu Resort, Huizhou in China’s southern Guangdong province, a holiday destination renowned for its beautiful lake and scenic mountains. Owned by Agile Property Holdings Limited Company (stock code: 3383), the resort is the second Sheraton hotel in Huizhou city, representing Starwood’s vigorous strategic planning to fulfill domestic demand for quality accommodations in this increasingly popular resort destination.
As the newest addition to Sheraton’s dynamic portfolio of over 60 properties in Greater China, the opening of Sheraton Bailuhu Resort also marks the iconic brand’s continuing growth in the country as well as its robust expansion plans across Asia Pacific, where Sheraton recently celebrated its 100th hotel milestone.
