Hotel Interactive, Inc. is proud to announce HI Connect Design 2014. It’s the hospitality industry’s most stimulating and productive experience and it’s returning to the Gaylord Opryland Resort and our state-of-the-art HI Connect Design Studio in Nashville from April 2-4, 2014. Registration is now open at HI Connect Design
Due to overwhelming demand, we’re bringing back the most exciting event ever created for the hospitality sphere and we’re adding to the unbelievable slate of experiences attendees will encounter during the 2014 edition. Expect more of what you love plus a whole lot more including the debut of vignettes created by a select few major hotel companies that will be announced shortly. New types of vignettes that put the spotlight on emerging trends, an expansion of an AAHOA partnership and a unique and powerful combination of owners, developers, designers, buyers, suppliers, architects and purchasing professionals. No other industry event has such a breadth of qualified attendees focused in as many disciplines.
It all adds up to HI Connect Design 2014 being the can’t miss event of the year.
HI Connect Design is the hospitality tradeshow reimagined delivering the highest qualified attendees. HI Connect Design is a unique opportunity to interact with real environments, or "vignettes," while connecting with business building contacts. In fact, this concept is so unique and different than any other tradeshow ever presented.
HI Connect Design is the first hotel industry show to simultaneously stimulate all five senses.
HI Connect Design helps suppliers and designers build critical relationships with influential owners, developers, buyers, designers, architects and purchasing pros, while the educational industry insight and wisdom gained prove invaluable for future growth. Unparalleled networking and inspiration are only the beginning of what’s to be discovered at HI Connect Design 2014. HI Connect Design’s fresh approach will leave you with great ideas, great relationships and a new outlook on how to "wow" your guests.
Hotel Interactive, Inc. has a reputation for creating first class events such as BITAC™
and HI Connect Design 2014
will once again take place in our 172,000 square foot state-of-the-art Design Studio.
"Once again we are raising the bar on what attendees and participants in HI Connect Design can expect. Though we are delighted by the incredible feedback we received from the 2013 edition, we must constantly rethink what is important to attendees to create a fresh and exciting experience that goes far beyond their expectations. HI Connect Design was created to adapt and change with the trends while ensuring the most essential ideas always come to the forefront," said Rich Viola, President and CEO of Hotel Interactive, Inc.
Abounding Attendee Inspiration
"I would extend our participation by having our design group come as well as our procurement group because I think of the value I see in merging these two concepts," said Michele Sweeting, Senior Vice President of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in regards to the 2013 show. Ted Hunter, SVP DPC Predevelopment, Wyndham Hotel Group, said HI Connect Design is like none other. "I think it is a fascinating way to see the products in context. When you go to a traditional tradeshow you will see isolation of just what that manufacturer offers but you do not see how the designers can collaborate and bring things together. HI Connect is unique in that it brings these visions together for people to see how thing work and it’s much better than a traditional tradeshow." Mehul 'Mike' Patel, 2012/13 Chairman of AAHOA said he loved seeing industry innovation on display in way that’s wholly different than any other event. "[HI Connect Design] is a unique experience to see all sorts of different designs. When you are here you are able to connect with the design to see what you want. This is a great experience to be a part of and I was very thrilled to be here. I wish I had more time to spend here," said Patel.
Designers are once again looking forward to participating in the next edition of HI Connect Design and showing what they can do to create exciting spaces developers crave.
Getty’s is returning this year for the third time, participating in every HI Connect Design so far.
"I really can’t imagine there are many tradeshows like this in the world. I commend Hotel Interactive and the entire team for daring to do something that is incredibly innovative and I think with each year it’s getting better and better and next year will be even better," said Roger Hill, CEO of Gettys.
Suppliers heralded the 2013 edition of HI Connect Design a huge success and are looking forward to participating in the 2014 show.
"This is amazing. This is probably the most unique event that I have ever attended in over 30 years of working in the industry," said John Cairo of Leviton Manufacturing.
"What I like about this format is hoteliers can come in and see in one shot and in each vignette the concept from the designer. This is the event in the industry and you can’t miss it," said Robert Wright of Bose.
Kim Swanson of Vaughn Benz loved not just the show itself but the months of teambuilding she had with designers and other suppliers. "I think this is an amazing concept and I have been in this business a long time. Just to see the camaraderie to make this complete package come together is outstanding. This is very different than anything I have seen before. Just the amount of teamwork that pulled this together is phenomenal and I’ve never seen anything like it," said Swanson. "I would definitely recommend doing this [in 2014]."
"I would absolutely recommend this to any business associates to come through from designers to suppliers," said Clayton Price of Epic Eye. "I think this is a great way to team up with people that know the industry and know how to deliver on the concepts that are delivered in our industry."
Hotel Interactive created HI Connect Design to maximize industry professional’s time by engaging our guests and customers in all the right ways. Imagine a tradeshow that has only pre-qualified hoteliers, owners and developers exploring an environment that has no aisles or traditional booths. Now imagine walking through environments that are accurate representations of actual spaces that could exist in any hotel in the world. And that’s just for starters. There are many more unexpected but welcome surprises throughout this innovative happening.
HI Connect Design provides a never-ending sense of discovery, stimulation and engagement where attendees step into myriad vignettes highlighting the vision of the industry’s top designers who have partnered with leading suppliers. Take a tour of hotel rooms, hang out at the spa or just sit, chat and network with colleagues in the hotel lobby, bar or restaurant. All contained in a single immersive environment.
