Contract Marks 25th Hotel Operated by Evolution Hospitality
Effective October 28, 2013, Evolution Hospitality has assumed management of the 130-acre DoubleTree Golf Resort San Diego. The hotel becomes the 25th property in Evolution’s management portfolio. The property is owned by Laurus Corporation, a private real estate investment and development firm based in Los Angeles, CA.
Located in North San Diego County off I-15, DoubleTree Golf Resort San Diego is about 25 minutes from Downtown San Diego and San Diego International Airport, and within five miles of leading technology companies including Intel, General Atomics, Broadcom, Cymer, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, Sony, SAIC, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. The property features 174 guest rooms and suites, 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space, two restaurants, a 5,500 square-foot health club, two pools, five tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course. An extensive renovation to update and enhance the entire hotel is planned for 2014.
