Rock sensation, Joey Kramer, drummer for Aerosmith, now is Rockin’ & Roastin’ in the travel industry. Today Kramer announces that his first hotel partnership for his organic coffee line will be Maine’s premier destination property, The Bethel Inn Resort (Bethel, ME).
“Rockin’ & Roastin’ breaking into the hospitality business is really great,” says Kramer. “With the guest turnover that hotels and resorts see daily, it will open the doors to Rockin’ & Roastin’ expanding its appeal to many new demographics.”
Celebrating its century birthday this year, The Bethel Inn Resort is an all-season resort that encompasses two hundred acres of resort activities in Maine’s Mahoosuc Mountains. Famous for its luxurious period décor interlaced with modern conveniences, The Bethel Inn Resort recently underwent a renovation and expansion. With fine and casual dining on premise, The Bethel Inn Resort also offers its guests championship golf, the Guaranteed Performance School of Golf, tennis, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, complete health club, lake house, year-round outdoor heated pool, spa services, and conference center.
Says Allen Connors, General Manager of The Bethel Inn Resort, “The legacy of Aerosmith in New England is almost as seasoned as that of The Bethel Inn Resort. We are excited to be the first hotel property anywhere to be Rockin’ & Roastin’ with Joey.”
In May, Kramer announced his partnership with Comfort Foods (N. Andover, MA) who now roasts, packages and distributes his trio of small-batch brews: two Dark roasts, from Sumatra and Ethiopia, and one Dark-Medium, hailing from Guatemala. Previously only available for online retail, Comfort Foods now is able to meet the demand for Kramer’s rapid expansion into the retail and hospitality markets. Currently the coffee is available in both whole-bean and ground forms and soon, Kramer will unveil a single-serving option.
“We recently entered into a relationship with a national-level foodservice provider to service the emerging demand for Rockin’ & Roastin’,” adds Frank Cimler, Kramer’s attorney and Rockin’ & Roastin’ business partner. “This allows us to expand into the restaurant, travel and hospitality industries, with The Bethel Inn Resort being the first of its type for Rockin’ & Roastin.”
Rockin’ & Roastin’ has nine initial stock-keeping units (SKUs) available to the foodservice industry ranging from five-pound bags to “frac-packs.” For single-serve cups, all three of the Rockin’ & Roastin’ varietals will be offered in addition to a new Swiss water-based decaf option.
Rockin’ & Roastin’ will be available for brewing at The Bethel Inn Resort (21 Broad Street, Bethel, ME) in October. For more information on The Bethel Inn Resort, please visit: www.bethelinn.com

ABOUT ROCKIN’ & ROASTIN’ COFFEE:
Joey Kramer of Aerosmith is a coffee-loving Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer. The story of Joey Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ organic, custom-roasted coffee blends begins in the field. Unlike “sun grown” coffee that’s cheaper to produce but requires chemical fertilizers and pesticides and leads to the destruction of native rainforests, Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee is lovingly cultivated using the traditional “shade grown” method, under a canopy of indigenous trees. This sustainable practice supports a wide diversity of plant and animal life, provides food and shelter to migrating birds, and helps to filter carbon dioxide from the air, reducing the danger of global warming. There is currently a trio of international blends offered: two Dark roasts, from Sumatra and Ethiopia; and, a Dark-Medium, hailing from Guatemala.
