National hotel company leader, Expotel Hospitality Services Inc., has assumed management of two leading Milwaukee Airport hotels, the Crowne Plaza and Ramada Plaza.
Located adjacent to one another, the two hotels are only minutes from Milwaukee Airport and offer a wide range of the latest guest amenities as well as meeting spaces for corporate and social events and weddings.
Valerie Casper, formerly sales director of the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport, has been named general manager of the Ramada Plaza Milwaukee Airport. A GM executive search is underway for the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport while John Koss, Expotel’s regional director, acts as Interim GM.
Expotel Hospitality President Kerry Ranson said, “These two prominent hotel properties serve a vital role in the Milwaukee travel and hospitality mix. Each one is operating under a proven brand flag, and we’re excited about our goal for only enhancing both the guest and employee experience at both locations”
A premiere full service hotel, the Ramada Plaza Milwaukee Airport has 160 total guest rooms and 11,000-square feet of banquet and meeting space for up to 325 people. The hotel is nearing the end of a nearly $5 million renovation upgrade to enhance the guest experience, Ranson said.
The Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport offers 194 newly remodeled guest rooms, onsite Altitude Restaurant and Bar, Executive Floor with lounge, as well as complimentary guest parking, wifi and shuttle service. The 24,000 square feet of contemporary space can accommodate up to 2,000 guests for a variety of events.
Both hotels are located just 10 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and many major attractions including the Milwaukee Bucks Basketball, Milwaukee Brewers Baseball and the Harley Davidson Museum.
“We believe these hotels are among the finest in the Milwaukee region,” Ranson stated. “We look forward to leading the management and team members at each hotel to achieve even greater success in the future.”
