Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM today announced that it has partnered with celebrity interior designer and television personality Genevieve Gorder to launch the ‘Pin It To Win It!’ contest on Facebook and Pinterest. ‘Pin It To Win It!’ provides an exciting preview of the brand’s new look and feel by featuring many of the patterns, details, textures, fabrics and spaces, such as the Veranda, complimentary breakfast Servery, Living and Bath, that will be seen in the new generation of Country Inns & Suites hotels. One inspired contest winner will receive an exclusive two-night weekend getaway to any Country Inns & Suites in the U.S. and Canada and $3,000 in spending money.

Country Inns & Suites is completely modernizing and refreshing its image while retaining its same approachability and touch of home. Changes include a new architecture, interior aesthetic and visual identity, including logo. The brand has seen consistent upgrades but this is the first redesign of its kind in its 25-year history.

“Design and travel have one of the strongest marriages there is and the new Country Inns & Suites design is a perfect example of this fine combination,” Gorder said.

To enter ‘Pin It To Win It!’ individuals must visit, ‘like’ and complete a simple registration on the Country Inns & Suites Facebook page. Individuals are also asked to choose an image that best reflects their own design inspirations and then ‘pin’ the image of their choice to their Pinterest board. A winner will be selected at random. Individuals must enter the contest by June 6, 2013.

Among the brand’s changes, the new logo, which has been reinterpreted to evoke a more modern and sophisticated image, will be seen immediately, with a controlled roll out across the entire portfolio. The updated hotel architecture and interiors, which make their debut in the fourth quarter of 2013, feature a clean, contemporary look and feel that complements the new visual identity that combines warmth and comfort with the iconic design elements Country Inns & Suites are known for, including lobby fireplaces. The architectural design is a departure from previous generations of Country Inns & Suites and will allow the brand to expand in a greater variety of areas and locations, including more urban markets. The design will resonate with loyal guests, as well as today’s younger, technology-focused business travelers.

With shows like HGTV’s “Dear Genevieve”, "Design Star" and her upcoming show "Genevieve’s Renovation," Gorder has become a beloved household name and a force within the design world.
