Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), a privately owned hotel ownership and management firm based in Atlanta, today announced that it has named Richard Jones, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. As SVP & COO, Mr. Jones will oversee HVMG’s Operations, Capital Projects, Sales & Marketing, and Revenue Management areas. He will report directly to HVMG President & CEO Robert Cole.
Mr. Jones brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in hotel operations, property management, asset management, and investment management to his new position. Prior to joining HVMG, he was most recently Chief Operating Officer for Portman Holdings, an Atlanta-based global real estate investment, development, and management firm. Previously, Mr. Jones also held executive-level hospitality management positions at Hardin Capital, Noble Investment Group, and Impac Hotel Group. Mr. Jones started his career with Marriott International.
