Home2 Suites by Hilton, the award-winning mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand designed for modern business travelers and extended-stay guests, announced the opening of its 15th U.S. hotel in Augusta, Ga. The Home2 Suites Augusta is the second property for the brand in the state. The first guest to check-in received an Augusta themed weekend package, including a complimentary weekend stay, dinner for two at a local restaurant and tickets to explore the Morris Museum of Art, Augusta Museum of History and Augusta Canal.

"The Home2 Suites by Hilton is located within the Augusta Exchange, an 87-acre regional power center with extensive shopping and restaurant facilities, and  close proximity to the Augusta National Golf Course, making this an ideal destination for our guests looking for an extended-stay offering,” said Bill Duncan, global head, Home2 Suites by Hilton.

The four-story, 123-suite hotel is located at 3606 Exchange Lane in Augusta, situated in the Augusta Exchange near Robert C. Daniel Parkway and the Walton Way extension. Nearby attractions include the Augusta National Golf Course, James Brown Arena, the Morris Museum of Art and the Augusta Museum of History.  The hotel is owned by Generation Suites of Augusta, LLC and is managed by The Generation Companies.

The Augusta property features an outdoor saline swimming pool, in addition to a three-hole putting green and walking trail that winds around the property.  The hotel also offers easy access to technology and inviting community spaces, as well as the trademark Home2 Suites amenities standard in all properties, such as the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, the Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, and the free continental breakfast at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning favorites like a hot breakfast sandwich.

Home2 Suites by Hilton currently operates 14 hotels and has over 70 properties in its development pipeline. The brand currently has 14 properties under active construction in Huntsville, Ala.; Baltimore/White Marsh, Md.; Austin/Cedar Park, Texas; Jackson/Ridgeland, Miss.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Rahway, N.J.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Nashville, Tenn.; Florida City, Fla.; Rochester Henrietta, N.Y.; Memphis-Southaven, Miss.; Salt Lake City/South Jordan, Utah; Denver West/Lakewood, Colo. and Baltimore/Aberdeen, Md.  Future properties are slated for many of the nation’s major markets, including Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Denver.
