HVS Design, an international hospitality interior design firm, announced today that it has completed Interior Design services for the new Courtyard by Marriott Washington/Foggy Bottom in Washington, DC, that will open Monday, February 18th.
HVS Design created a custom design that incorporates an urban, classic feel to lobby and public areas of the newest addition to the Marriott brand in Washington, D.C. A rich hue of burgundy with accents of robin’s egg blue and gold embrace the new lobby. The hotel’s 149 guestrooms feature the same luxurious tones of the public areas.
“HVS Design is proud to be part of this dynamic, downtown hotel,” said Jonathan C. Nehmer, AIA, ISHC, managing principal of HVS Design. “This project is a stunning example of our team’s creativity to incorporate of the brand’s Refreshing Business concept within such a unique, narrow site.”
The 9-story hotel is strategically located near the intersection of 20th and E Streets in Northwest Washington, DC, next to George Washington University. The Courtyard by Marriott is owned by All States Hotel Company LLC.
