G6 Hospitality, one of the nation’s largest owner/operators of economy lodging, under the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, announces the opening of 63 locations in 2012, all under franchise contracts. The latest openings include 57 Motel 6 and six Studio 6 properties, with a room count of more than 5,100.

The 2012 additions cover 25 U.S. states and one Canadian province. Franchise locations account for approximately 50 percent of the Motel 6/Studio 6 network. The openings include:
