Consistently at the forefront of new and innovative technology, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa today announced its intention to offer Allin Interactive’s ITV in-room gaming platform, DigiCasino™, which has been approved by The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. This will mark the first instance that an Atlantic City casino will offer mobile gaming since the passage of the legislation that was approved and signed by Governor Christie in August. It is also the first time in-room gaming will be offered anywhere in the country and it will be available exclusively at Borgata.

Scheduled to launch on Monday, February 18, Borgata E-Casino will enable adult hotel guests who are My Borgata Rewards members the opportunity to wager on slots and video poker games brought to them via Allin’s interactive high definition television service featured in each of Borgata’s 2,000 rooms and suites. This ever-evolving platform has the potential for a myriad of additional games to be added. Customers will be allowed a maximum purchase of $2,500 gaming credits for in-room gaming per 24-hours. The extensive controls to prevent access by minors that is included in the technology will be evaluated during the field trial.

"We are extremely excited to be the first casino property on the East Coast to offer this ground-breaking technology,” said Tom Ballance, Borgata’s President and Chief Operating Officer. “Through Allin’s software we are able to provide our guests the opportunity to enjoy gaming from the comfort of their room or suite."

The field trial will be a cooperative effort between the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), Borgata and Allin. The parties have worked together to enable flexible and responsible gaming options for Borgata’s guests while adhering to the mobile gaming legislation that was recently approved.

"We are pleased that Borgata has taken advantage of the mobile gaming regulations and that they will be the first in the country to offer this form of gaming experience. This demonstrates that the Governor's efforts to strengthen opportunities for New Jersey casinos to remain competitive are working," said New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement Director David Rebuck. "New Jersey is at the forefront of gaming technology and our slot laboratory has once again proven it is capable of evaluating very complex systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of security and integrity."

"We are very pleased with the results of this coordinated effort with Director Rebuck and his leadership team at the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to provide us with an opportunity to test the viability of in-room gaming through our ITV system," stated John Forelli, Vice President of Information Technology at Borgata. "The DGE’s lab personnel have been extremely responsive in creating an opportunity for New Jersey casinos to offer a competitive advantage over other gaming jurisdictions in a responsible and controlled manner."

"Borgata’s vision to securely and responsibly expand gaming options to its guest rooms is certainly a welcome development for Allin," stated Brian Blair, President of Allin Interactive. "Since we have been offering and advancing in-room ITV gaming in the cruise industry in international waters for several years, we are excited to partner with Atlantic City’s leading resort destination to be the first land-based property to offer our DigiCasino solution on the in-room television."

Allin has been providing interactive services including movies, room messaging, property events, account information and customer offers at Borgata since November of 2011 via its industry-leading DigiHD™ platform.
