InterContinental Hong Kong is thrilled to announce the return of the popular Cooking With The Culinary Stars series for 2013. Throughout the year guests will learn to cook alongside the celebrated chefs from InterContinental Hong Kong’s diverse restaurants, including the Michelin starred establishments SPOON by Alain Ducasse, Yan Toh Heen and THE STEAK HOUSE winebar + grill along with the legendary NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong. In addition to the annual cooking classes, the hotel has launched a new Baking Club program created under the guidance of SPOON’s new Pastry Chef Jerome Husson.

The Cooking With The Culinary Stars classes cover everything from classic cooking techniques and essentials to specialty and seasonal dishes. The hotel’s chefs will showcase their diversity in international cuisine including French, Japanese, Cantonese and American using both modern and traditional techniques. Each class on the 2013 calendar takes place on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and is inclusive of a light breakfast followed by a lunch created in class and matched with expert wine pairings. Each participant will also receive an official completion certificate, customized apron and exclusive take-home recipes from the chef.

Students of the new Baking Club will learn techniques in the masterful art of dessert and cake-making from SPOON Pastry Chef Jerome Husson and his talented staff. Each hands-on class is approximately four hours long and includes decadent topics such as bread making, chocolate, cheesecake, ice cream, pies, party desserts and cake decorating. In addition to the sweet treats created in class, each participant will also receive special package with an official certificate, a Baking Club apron, a pastry equipment set and recipes from the chef.

Tickets for the Cooking With The Culinary are listed at $191.90 per adult and Baking Club classes at $243.49 per adult.

For further information and to reserve a place in the classes, please contact the Restaurant Reservations Center at (852) 2313 2323 or e-mail: fb.hongkong@ihg.com
