The Lexington Inn flag is now flying at the former Best Western in Hammond, LA, conveniently located just a short distance between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Following the Lexington Inn standards, the 60-room hotel has an exercise room and business center, and offers guests a complimentary, full breakfast each morning.
“I’ve known Vantage and its partners, Roger Bloss and Bernie Moyle, for a long time. So when they offered a membership brand in the midscale segment with short-term contracts, I knew it was going to be the right fit for my hotel,” said owner Ashok (Andy) Patel. “I like the way Roger and Bernie operate. When they tell you they’re going to do something, you know they will get it done. They are very honest and work for the benefit of the hotel owner.”
Patel said the hotel is currently undergoing guest room renovations that should be completed by the end of February. Plenty of finished rooms will be available for the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras, events Patel hopes to benefit from.
