Vantage Hospitality Group
10th largest hotel company worldwide

Vantage Hospitality Group is proud to announce that Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Founding Partner Bernie Moyle has been appointed to both the State Board of Directors of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (a two-year term) and the Board of Directors of the Broward Chapter of the FRLA (a one-year term).

The FRLA represents the hospitality industry, including lodging establishments, restaurants and thousands of related suppliers and vendors, in the state of Florida. Its mission is to protect, educate and promote the hospitality industry in Florida.

“The hospitality industry represents 20% of Florida’s economy, is a $62 billion industry, collects and remits $3.4 billion in tax revenue, and is the largest employment sector in the state with over one million employees. I believe the mission of the FRLA is critical to both the industry and the state, so I want to do my part to ensure everyone’s continued success,” said Moyle, who represented Vantage the past several years at the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Legislative Action Summit in Washington, D.C.

The 2013 legislative agenda includes shedding light upon and furthering the interests of FRLA’s constituents in mandatory paid “sick” leave, destination resort casino gambling, immigration, Visit Florida funding, the Hospitality Education Program, Americans with Disabilities Act, online travel companies, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare).

In addition to helping grow Vantage Hospitality to the 8th largest hotel company in the world with over 1,000 locations, Moyle has served as Chairman of the Board for the Economic Development Foundation of Coral Springs and Enterprise Coral Springs, currently is the Vice Chair of the Coral Springs Community Redevelopment Agency, and is a member of the Broward Workshop, where he is involved with the Transportation, Legislation and Tourism Committees.

The Vantage family includes the Americas Best Value Inn®, Canadas Best Value Inn®, Chinas Best Value Inn®, Value Inn Worldwide® and Lexington by Vantage® hotel brands.
