Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (www.hotelequities.com) recently promoted Mike Loera to Revenue Manager for the firm’s growing portfolio of hotels. He previously served as the Director of Sales for the Hampton Inn & Suites Navarre, managed by Hotel Equities, for more than two years.
Mr. Loera’s responsibilities include daily inventory management of the firm’s hotel rooms+. He also analyzes the demand for rooms in the hotels’ markets and implements seasonal and special event strategies. To ensure maximum profitability, he conducts revenue webinars with the each hotel’s general manager and sales team.
“Mike brings a wealth of sales and brand knowledge to our revenue management team,” said Drew Salapka, Director of Revenue Management for Hotel Equities. “His previous experience in sales and operations is a great combination to have when directing the revenue management strategies at our hotels.”
With more than 13 years in the hospitality industry, Mr. Loera joined Hotel Equities in 2010 after working as the Assistant General Manager at the Hampton Inn in Destin. His previous positions include Front Office Manager at the Wingate and Front Office Supervisor at the Embassy Suites, both in Miramar Beach, Florida.
The winner of the Hotel Equities Sales Award of 2011, Mr. Loera earned a STAR Player Award from a previous employer and the Navarre Chamber of Commerce named him its Member of the Month in April 2012.
Mr. Loera studied Business Management at Northwest Florida State College. A major league sports fan, Mr. Loera also enjoys playing sports, running and relaxing on the beach. He and his wife Kristen live in Navarre, Florida.
