Chesapeake Hospitality, one of the country’s fastest growing third-party hotel management companies, announced today that it has added David Glass as Regional Director of Operations to its growing leadership team. Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality, made the announcement.

With more than 20 years of hospitality experience in marketing, management and sales, Glass most recently served as general manager of the Hilton Charlotte University, finishing in the top 10 percent of all Hilton Hotels in guest satisfaction for the past three years. He has extensive experience in working with hotel takeovers and bank owned properties, with additional expertise of hotel renovations and construction management. In addition to serving as general manager of the Hilton Charlotte University, Glass previously worked as the regional director of operations for King of Prussia, Pa.-based Lodging Unlimited, Inc., and as the senior sales manager of Philadelphia-based Promus Hotels.

“With an impeccable reputation and a proven history for exceeding company goals, David will make a great addition to our leadership team and help us continue to deliver industry-leading results for our clients,” said Sims. “As we continue to grow and add additional hotels to our portfolio, his diverse talents will serve as an asset to our expanding team.”

Recognized for its outstanding abilities as a third-party manager, Chesapeake Hospitality continues its impressive growth story, continuously adding hotels to its management portfolio—the hotel most recently assumed management of the Country Inn and Suites in Newark, DE on January 2, 2013.

Headquartered in Greenbelt, Md., just outside of Washington, D.C., Chesapeake Hospitality is a mid-sized, third-party hotel management company with a proven track record in both full- and select-service hotels. Ranked in the top 50 largest independent operators, the company manages properties under the Hilton, Starwood and InterContinental Hotel Group brand families.
