Rainmaker LRO™ Driving Innovation in Multifamily Industry

As the leading revenue management partner to the multifamily industry, serving 9 of the 13 public REIT’s and having attained a significantly increased customer base with a great group of customers, the Rainmaker LRO product suite saw significant upgrades to better serve its multifamily clients. The key acquisitions and initiatives in 2012 included:

• The development and launch of LRO Student™, the industry’s only revenue management platform engineered specifically for this niche market. The offering provides access to more robust market share comparisons and greater flexibility and ability to react to leasing pace and supply and demand constraints.
• The acquisition of an automated budgeting tool resulting in the creation of LRO Budget™, Rainmaker’s software-as-a-service application leveraging a more robust, scientific, analytical approach to budgeting and forecasting. The product significantly reduces time needed for data collection and analysis and delivers greater budgeting accuracy through unit-category-based growth assumptions and overall improved accounting data visibility.
• Substantial team expansion, with more than 10 new additions to the Rainmaker LRO team to drive strategic initiatives and ultimately better serve clients during the sales, software development, customer service, and implementation processes.

And most recently, Rainmaker announced a strategic acquisition of a business intelligence technology for integration into the LRO product suite and ultimately across Rainmaker’s entire product portfolio which will allow all Rainmaker clients to gain superior insights about their assets and markets.
