Wyndham Rio Mar Names Jeffrey Willenberg as Director of Country Club and Pedro Pérez as Director of Engineering

Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa strengthens its team with the appointment of Jeffery C. Willenberg as Director of Country Club and upholds its impeccable services and facilities by naming Pedro Pérez as the Director of Engineering.

Boasting more than 20 years of club experience, Willenberg comes to Wyndham Rio Mar from Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club. There he worked as General Manager overseeing the entire golf club operation inclusive of villa rentals, golf memberships and recreation. During this time, the golf club saw a 30 percent increase in membership. Willenberg started his career at the Hyatt Bear Creek Golf Course in Euless, Texas. Willenberg arrived in Puerto Rico in 1997 to serve the Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort and has been on the island ever since. He worked at the Palmas Del Mar Country Club in Humacao, Puerto Rico where he managed more than 150 employees including five executive directors for each department. Willenberg will apply his vast experience, host of management expertise and leadership know how to his new role.

Pérez boasts a large spectrum of experience in engineering management. In the hotel industry, he previously worked with a wealth of industry leading brands including Barclay Intercontinental Hotels, Intercontinental Bonaventure Hotel & Spa, Hilton International Hotels, The Condado Beach Trio Hotel, Ocean Resort Hotels, Radisson Resort Orlando and Westin Dawn Resort & Spa. Pérez’s vast experience will be an excellent asset to propel Wyndham Rio Mar’s impeccable level of hospitality to the next level.
