Radisson Blu, Europe’s largest upscale hotel brand, has launched “Experience Meetings.” This new concept for meetings and events combines the meeting essentials- breakout rooms, food and connectivity with the intangibles- service, satisfaction and sustainability. “Experience Meetings” is the newest offering at 255 participating Radisson Blu hotels with a total of more than 2,200 meeting rooms in 55 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

“Experience Meetings” begins with the easy planning and booking process. Regardless of the size and location of the meeting, Radisson Blu has come up with a variety of tools and services such as a sophisticated search engine (www.meetings.carlsonrezidor.com), and will be rolling out enhanced hotel web pages for meetings along with 3D floor plans.
There are three key elements to “Experience Meetings.” The first is Brain Food, an innovative and responsible food & beverage solution developed by skilled chefs and nutritionists. Brain Food serves fresh, well-balanced and primarily locally sourced low-fat & low-sugar items- lots of fish, whole grain products, fruits and vegetables that keep the guests’ blood sugar level constant and help them to stay concentrated and to lower their stress level. The second is the Brain Box: a breakout room for participating hotels designed to elevate efficiency and to stimulate creativity. The Brain Box is equipped with a flexible furniture layout like movable lounge chairs and cushions, with adjustable light systems, and special tools like plexi-glass walls to write on. The third element is to enable connectivity, all Radisson Blu properties offer complimentary high-speed WiFi for all meeting delegates.
Intangible components complement the new meeting concept. Guests can also participate in engaging Responsible Business activities and make their meeting paperless. Members of Radisson Blu’s loyalty program Club Carlson for Planners (exclusively offered to meetings, conventions and special event planners) will benefit from an automatic offset of the carbon dioxide emissions from any meeting that a member has booked.
