Muzak, a Mood Media company and the leader in sensory branding services for businesses in North America, is excited to announce a partnership with Harvey’s Casino in Stateline, Nevada, to install an advanced sound system reaching every casino zone throughout the 52,000 square foot facility.
Harvey’s executive team determined there was a need for sound quality improvements throughout the casino. As several of the casino’s zones had existing Bose speakers, it was essential to match all other casino zones to the same level of sound quality that existed in the Bose installed zones. Secondly, Muzak was tasked with enabling control of the entire casino’s sound system from the Pit and other designated areas.
Harvey’s invited Muzak to analyze the facility’s complete sound system and design a customized solution. All areas of the casino were rezoned to maximize sound quality throughout by replacing existing speakers with new Bose ceiling speakers, chosen to match the look, size and audio quality of the existing speakers. Muzak also installed a Crestron control system, allowing for complete audio control from the Pit and various locations. The control system was selected specifically for its capability to expand the controls in the future to include TV systems, lighting and HVAC systems. It now manages all of the casino’s audio zones, both individually and with a master control for overall volume.
