Ambiance Radio, a leading provider of background music for hospitality companies, has appointed Melissa McGill to the role of Director of Lodging. Ambiance Radio, founded in 2010, focuses solely on providing background music to the hospitality and restaurant industries using proprietary software backed by scientific research.
McGill comes to Ambiance Radio with an extensive background in sales and hospitality technology. In her most recent position, McGill was the National Sales Director for Velocity, based in Holland, Ohio, which specializes in data services and hospitality internet. There, McGill developed and managed relationships with C-level individuals in the hospitality and retail space in the US, helping companies achieve their telecom and data goals while meeting their budgetary demands by articulating the correct networks for their particular needs. Her work within hospitality technology also extends to a stint at LodgeNet Interactive Corporation and Compris Technologies (a wholly owned subsidiary of NCR Corporation).
