WATG is pleased to announce the opening of St. Mary Residences, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. International destination design firm WATG was the architect for the four-acre luxury project developed by luxury lifestyle developer Eastern & Oriental Berhad (E&O) in partnership with The Lion Group.

"The architecture reflects a purity of materials, with three contemporary jewel-box towers ascending from a stylish garden nestled in the urban core of Kuala Lumpur. The cubist geometry of the buildings is accentuated with natural stone and patterned with metal screens," noted Jin Koyama, associate and lead designer at WATG. WATG worked in association with GDP Architects, project architects, and Seksan Design, landscape architects.

In addition to 457 luxury apartment residences, St. Mary includes E&O Residences Kuala Lumpur, E&O’s first serviced apartment development in the city, as well as St. Mary Place, a retail centre featuring a high quality retail, dining and lifestyle offerings.

“We are proud of the way the St. Mary development has been conceptualised, and prouder still of the result,” said E&O Deputy Managing Director, Eric Chan Kok Leong. “Reflecting our position as a true luxury lifestyle property developer, St. Mary showcases how our core of property development is brought to life with E&O’s supporting lifestyle elements of hospitality and F&B. This is what E&O Property is all about –  smart, stylish, high-quality, luxurious living that gives you the best returns.”

He added that St. Mary provides an ideal platform for E&O to elevate the quality and services offered to potential buyers and investors. Chan also announced the impending release of the exclusive St. Mary penthouse units for sale, featuring three super-penthouses, which include an option to purchase a Lamborghini Gallardo at a preferential price, as a result of the co-branding partnership between E&O and Lamborghini Malaysia.

With the completion of St Mary, E&O is well-poised for success. “We are passionate about building best-in-class communities that match the individual’s lifestyle. Luxury and quality are the hallmarks of our success. Our aim is to consciously build our corporate and property brands, to cement a more global position as the true property lifestyle developer.”

On Penang Island, E&O’s masterplanned seafront development Seri Tanjung Pinang is one of the most sought-after residential addresses on the island, especially with its latest launch, the Quayside and Andaman seafront resort condominiums. E&O’s core of property development is supported by a cachet of complementary lifestyle elements.
