Ambassador Hotel Collection has announced the addition of Gina K. McKee as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ambassador Hotel Wichita. McKee will lead the development of 2013 corporate and group room and hospitality programs. The hotel is scheduled to open in December and is now booking weddings, special events and meetings for 2013

Gina brings a decade of invaluable experience, learning from hotel operator and developer Jack DeBoer and entrepreneur Phil Ruffin. “
McKee was most recently Director of National Sales at Hotel Interactive leading a national program matching buyers and sellers in the hospitality industry. As Vice President of Franchise Development for Value Place, McKee sold more than 400 license agreements. She was part of the team that built the brand into one of the fastest growing hospitality franchises in the U.S. with over 185 open properties in 7 years. Previously, McKee led business transient sales at the Wichita Marriott Hotel. She also brings over 15 years of executive experience in the non-profit sector raising millions for national and local Wichita charities.

McKee is a local resident of Derby, Kan. Along with husband Mitch, they have 5 children and enjoy playing golf, attending soccer games and spending time with family.
