Kempinski Hotels, Europe's oldest luxury hotel group, announces the appointment of Mr. Vella Ramasawmy as the General Manager of their upcoming Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi scheduled to open later this year in East Delhi. A pioneer in the hotel industry, Mr. Ramasawmy is spearheading the hotel team to make it a new landmark for European luxury in India. A veteran in the international hospitality fraternity, Mr. Vella Ramasawmy is widely recognised for his astute business acumen in managing world class hotels. He has helmed some of the world’s most iconic hotels including the Grand Hyatt Muscat and Park Hyatt properties in Goa, Melbourne, Tokyo and Sydney, Sun City in South Africa as well as Le Touessrok Ile aux Cerfs by Groupe Sun Resorts and Le Saint Geran, both in Mauritius. Mr. Ramasawmy has also successfully launched The Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon. His achievements can be seen in various global awards and recognition that his properties have acquired in the past under his guidance and leadership.
To be launched later this year, Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi will boast of the largest meeting space in the country with an attractive choice of indoor and outdoor meeting venues.
