Trilogy Wellness, LLC, a leading spa development and management company, is pleased to announce the launch of its Well & Being – Intentional Living brand. Lead by industry experts with extensive global experience in spa, preventative health, integrative medicine and hospitality, Well & Being offers hotels and resorts a revolutionary new platform for driving guest room demand through a robust and innovative spa brand.
“For the first time, luxury hotels and resorts will be able to directly access the $1.9 trillion global wellness market by leveraging an international network of healthy living and lifestyle brands,” said Richard Dusseau, President of Trilogy Spa Holdings, LLC.
According to Dusseau, a comprehensive team of experts and health professionals led by a world-renowned chief medical director Tieraona Low Dog, MD, will deliver sustainable solutions focused on holistic approach towards healthy living and lifestyles. This will include specialized providers in specific fields of complimentary and alternative medicine, a comprehensive approach that includes state-of-the-art diagnostics, integrative medicine, spa and beauty services, yoga, fitness and nutrition.
The Well & Being brand will launch in November of 2012 at the AAA Five-Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is owned by Strategic Hotels and Resorts and managed by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.
The 44,000 square foot Willow Stream spa is inspired by the Arizona landscape and a hidden oasis deep in the Grand Canyon called Havasupai. It features a rooftop oasis swimming pool, 34 treatment rooms, private consultation rooms, three dedicated studios and separate group check-in. Stunning design and architectural features including local stone, fountains, waterfalls, streams, gardens and plenty of natural light throughout the facility.
The renovated spa will feature a new centerpiece Garden Atrium with a full demonstration kitchen accommodating classes ranging from 8 – 50 guests. The Garden Atrium will also include a unique studio for intimate mind-body classes including Ariel Yoga and TRX. Other new studios include a “floating” studio for yoga, tai chi and guided meditation classes. A newly designed high-performance studio will feature Virtual Active projection allowing classes to experience cinema quality, dynamic video content during training classes. Classes such as Rip Surfer will provide guests with exciting new options for fitness in an immersive experience.
The Well & Being experience is unique to each guest. The program is flexible and personalized to each individual’s own definition of health. This is the first expert-guided and fully customized integrated wellness experience available at luxury resorts. Guests have the opportunity to work with top industry professionals who will help them explore services ranging from results-oriented skincare such as Hydrafacial®, acupuncture, world class spa services, cooking classes and popular fitness programs such as TRX, and CrossFit®, as well as multiple mind-body offerings featuring traditional and cutting edge yoga classes.
The focal points of the programs are centered around the three approaches a guest may use to experience Well & Being services while on property. These three approaches are titled Mindful, Physical, and Natural. Working together, guests and Well & Being experts craft the program that best suits the individual’s personal interests, goals and wellness needs. Highly regarded professionals in preventative health, integrated medicine, fitness, spa, yoga, and nutrition will provide cutting-edge services, diagnostic testing, health assessments, personal training, classes, and treatments to resort guests and members from the local community.
Extensive programming and service delivery will be directed by Well & Being Chief Medical Director Tieraona Low Dog, MD, Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Arizona College of Medicine and Director of the Fellowship at the groundbreaking Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.
Well & Being offers on-going support and services through a robust digital experience online delivered to computer, tablet and mobile devices. This web-based experience is designed to attract and engage customers to drive repeat resort visits and continued interaction with the brand through the delivery of a personalized digital lifestyle magazine to each guest who creates a profile online or has experienced services at the resort.
Website content will be filtered and customized based on a user’s profile and wellness preferences. This personalized program, and custom content, is delivered directly to the user once they log into their profile.
Custom content is supplied by Well & Being experts at the resort, and supported by an extensive network of marketing partnerships with leading healthy living and lifestyle companies. This will add to the personalized online experience and will continue the relationship with the guest once they leave the property. Well & Being’s integrated wellness services, support and products, all geared toward maintaining a healthy lifestyle, have never been offered in such a comprehensive manner in a resort setting. The depth of wellness programming and interaction with a guest 365 days a year is also an industry first.
Well & Being is the first truly multi-faceted wellness brand that allows hotels and resorts to capitalize on the explosive growth in the health and wellness markets. The brand is the bridge between hospitality, preventative wellness and healthcare. Well & Being directly addresses the demand for accessible wellness services through dynamic group programs, corporate wellness, guest loyalty, wellness tourism and the local community.
