Best Western International, The World’s Biggest Hotel Family®, announced today that its worldwide RFP processing and management is moving to the Nexus system commencing with this year’s rate negotiation season. Nexus will provide Best Western with a quick and easy way to solicit rates and information from its hotels and then maximize the accuracy and speed with which bid responses are communicated back to its Corporate and Travel Management Company clients.
The RFP (Request For Proposal) process is important for hotel organizations since the number of accepted bids has a direct impact on sales revenue for the following year. The Nexus system will give Best Western improved control over the process and comprehensive reporting capabilities. Best Western’s more than 4,000 hotels worldwide will be able to respond to bids in less than five minutes.
“Best Western is pleased to partner with Nexus,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales, Best Western International. “Nexus provides us the opportunity to optimize our performance by making it easier for our hotels to respond to RFPs and provide the highest level of service to our customers.”
Geoff Andrew, Nexus Managing Director added, “We are delighted to be working with a globally recognised brand like Best Western and to welcome them into the worldwide Nexus Community. Our mission at Nexus is quite simple: to help our clients sell more hotel rooms by developing smart sales technology for sales people. We’re looking forward to a long and successful partnership.”
