Cobblestone Hotels celebrated the groundbreaking today for the company’s fourth new
build in North Dakota this year. Experiencing significant growth since it opened its first property in January of 2008, Cobblestone Hotels has doubled its number of properties this year alone. The group has completed four conversions since January and will have nine new builds complete by year-end. The new Cobblestone Inn and Suites in Harvey, North Dakota will reflect the brand’s vision to provide high-level accommodations and service to smaller communities and is expected to open in the first quarter of 2013.
“We are very pleased to develop our fourth Cobblestone Inn & Suites in the state of North Dakota and feel Harvey is going to be a great addition to our chain,” said Jim Bortz, vice president of development at Cobblestone Hotels. “Harvey is experiencing great growth and traffic and we are happy to provide the city with much needed quality lodging for the community.”
Members of Harvey Hotel Group, LLC—the hotel’s local ownership group—and several community leaders joined senior executives from Cobblestone Hotels at the Harvey Cobblestone Inn and Suites hotel site today to celebrate the kick off of construction of the new hotel. The construction phase of the Cobblestone Inn and Suites in Harvey is expected to provide approximately 60 employees with work and once complete, the hotel will provide approximately 10 new jobs for full- and part-time team members. “We are extremely happy to have Cobblestone come to Harvey and know the rooms and amenities Cobblestone brings will be a great asset to our community,” stated Nicki Weissman, Harvey JDA.
Located at the intersection of Highway 52 and Brewster Street in Harvey, the accommodations and service at the new Cobblestone Inn and Suites will reflect the brand’s commitment to providing guests with top quality amenities and a friendly atmosphere they can feel comfortable in. Each of the hotel’s 36 rooms will include a flat-panel TV, a microwave, a refrigerator, coffee service, a free weekday newspaper, upgraded bedding and free high-speed Internet. The hotel will also feature a guest laundry, on-site exercise equipment, a hot breakfast bar, a meeting room and a cocktail lounge.
