Timeshare and shared ownership software leader SPI Software announced they have completed the conversion of IT systems and data for Chalet High Resort in Basye, VA on behalf of the timeshare management company, SPM Resorts, Inc. (Chalet High Homeowners’ Association recently selected SPM Resorts, a professional timeshare resort management company, to manage their 76-unit timeshare resort located in Basye, Virginia.) SPI’s software was installed as SPM Resorts’ centralized enterprise system in the summer of 2010. SPI’s team converted Chalet High’s owner database from its previous legacy system and arranged for their inventory to be added to the SPM Resorts/SPI Web Services portal.

SPM Resorts Vice President of Financial and IT Services Bill Schultz said, “Chalet High owners will certainly be noticing the difference in efficiency and convenience. Not only will their resort’s back office processes run more smoothly and cost effectively, but now they can enjoy Internet access to send payments and view account information.”

“Another important aspect of the portal is that owners can review documents specific to their resort,” he added. “Now, Chalet High owners are able to view documents such as HOA Board meeting minutes, calendars, newsletters or a budget summary.”

“SPI’s web services portal also interfaces with several online travel and booking agents to push Chalet High’s and the other SPM-managed resorts’ rental availability to Expedia, Orbitz and other service providers,” said SPI Software Vice President Gordon McClendon. “We are really impressed with SPM’s proactive approach to implementing the latest technology for all their resorts, including Chalet High.”
